Massive Traffic In Just 1 Week
Here is proof that you can get great growth with a new site with minimal effort.
As you can see in the graph below, ProFlogger.com has a steep growth spike even though it is a very new site. The site has only been live for 11 days and the stats have not dipped yet. Most of this traffic comes from just 1 week, which makes it even more impressive.
Yesterday the site made it into the top 100,000 Traffic Rank on Alexa. Not too shabby really. Even better when you consider the site as not been Dugg. It has received a bit of Stumble traffic as well as being Zoomed a little, but I have not really applied a great deal of Buzz to the site yet.
This is just a quick post to illustrate that you can get good growth and traffic with a new site with minimal effort. In the next couple of days, I’ll show you how easy it is to do the same with your site.

Thanks Saedel, yes, I didn’t expect to crack it so quickly and hadn’t really devoted much time to generating too much traffic just yet. I wanted to have a bit more content on here first, but I can’t complain, that’s for sure…. 
I must know even less than I thought about Alexa.. you say that you made it into the top 100,000.. but according to Alexa you have a rank of 1,239,442. Am I missing something crucial to understanding this?
Was it any specific article they were looking at? Was it just a spike or have those levels stayed the same?

I think you missed out another digit, it reads 1,239,442 on your alexa and from your reach, that is not a 100,000 mark reach.
Hi Eric, the site is less then 2 weeks old, so it cannot make it into the top 100,000, which is measured on a 3 month average. If you look at the images, you will see that the post states ‘Yesterday the site made it into the top 100,000 Traffic Rank on Alexa.’ This refers to the site making it into the top 100,000 for the day, not for the 3 month average.
Hi Etienne, see my reply to Eric and note that the site is less then 2 weeks old, so it is not possible to have a 3 month average. The article refers to being in the top 100,000 for the day, at 72,065, which is still pretty good.

Wow, congrats, Pro! Impressive! I have never broken the famous 100K mark yet. But one thing I learned, I received a Google PageRank 3 just today. It means my site is already 3 months old.
Will be waiting for the next post.
